This is a problem that is way bigger than Greece or ANY individual European country. It just so happens that Greece is currently under a lot of strain because they are geographically closest to this particular conflict. So according to this idiot if one member is under severe strain then dump them and leave them to their own devices ? That's his solution ? What a great alliance.

What happens tomorrow if Morocco has problems and Spain gets flooded with immigrants ? Does he cut off Spain too ?

Greece is doing what it can. Boats with refugees are intercepted all the time. What are they supposed to do ? Sink them ? If Greece is not allowed to tow them back to their Turkish point of origin then there really isn't much you can do. Turkey is not just not playing along. It's openly aiding and abetting the people traffickers .

Greece has the 13th longest coastline in the world , it would have to build a new navy force specifically to defend against this, with state of the art radar/aerial drones and speedboats, and Greece should take up all this cost alone to defend the Czech republic and Europe. Defending a sea border is just not as simple as putting up a fence.

Europe has to decide if it wants to defend its sea border everywhere, not just in Greece. Build and outfit a proper Frontex force and negotiate with the countries such as Turkey and offer them real incentives and real penalties. Either that, or just accept that you will progressively cede territory.
