Dad sends naked picture of his child via Gmail to a doctor & his Google account gets blocked for good.

You assumed he meant is was an ad for Googles services

nope, i didn't.

i just gave my piece of opinion about a part of his comment and what i think about a specific topic. my opinion is that it isn't advertising for a company if they do such a thing. thats all i said. i didn't mentioned the specific article, but only wrote my opinion about that specific snippet of his comment.

it's true that you could assume that i did interpret it like you just wrote, but i didn't. i just wanted to write my opinion about that snippet.

a lot of people online say "if a company scans your harddrive for bad files its a good thing!" and they think it's positive advertisement for such companys to do this - but its the same bs like our politicans who say "but is nobody thinking about the kids!!?!!" when they introduce new laws who hurt our privacy more and more. so i wrote down my opinion about that aspect down in a comment, and quoted a specific snippet of op's comment for that. every time politicans want to create laws who hurt our privacy or freedom to do things, they argue with CP or similiar things - but then use this laws for other things. here in germany we got laws introduced with the argument it would be for terrorists and human traffic gangs+CP. and for what is it used now? people who tweet "you're such a penis"to a politican on twitter.. and people then get a police raid who storm their house with machine guns and dogs at 5am for such things.

thats was what my comment was directed towards.
