There's a reason Putin has 80%+ approval. There's a reason that every defector of North Korea said the people idolize their leaders.

And most people from HK do not like China's government. Certainly not if you are meeting those that left in whatever country you're from. In HK during the protest, only 30% opposed the protest and that doesn't even mean they want to be fully under the CCP's laws. Some of them just don't like the disruptions it's causing.
