Why do you think stop losses are rarely spoken about on this sub? It's like they're an unspoken after thought, seemingly taboo.

Sure there's the tax side of it combined with potentially being liquadated on the crypto side of things but your money is still there.

If used correctly a stop loss can become a safety net against flash crashes like the one we saw in March that so many people suffered and are still suffering from. Not only that but you may just find yourself in a better situation than you were before because of it.

HODL is what is constantly peddled around here but it's obvious by the comments on the bad days that not everyone has the willpower for that. Even without the comments, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I've sold at a loss before.
