My final verdict(that nb asked for) about mbappe saga.

1) PSG is a oil club. They earn slave money. While no money is really earnt by doing charity, I will give a pass to real madrid on this one. But till UEFA doesn't criminalize such states owning these clubs there is nth to say.

2) PSG spending too much money-: Same thing here. If they have money and are allowed to do so legally, there is nth much you can bitch about, it is childish.

3) About mbappe choosing to stay-:

I feel like footballing landscape might change after this mbappe saga..Future mbappes(of every position) might end up in rich epl clubs and psg. And "organic" rich clubs like real madrid and barcelona might have to go to bayern route. This one will be pretty controversial and will be downvoted heavily(We all know that madrid fans are doing unpaid internship in r/soccer so I brace myself for it). I feel like players have became smarter, greedier, less emotional.

Boomer generation of footballers played for

a) history of club

b) pride

c) legacy to be a legend among the legends.

d) win trophies

e) personal accolades in a reputed league(I am sceptical if laliga is still reputable league..EPL is clear imo...but I can see a bias for players that play in these clubs while winning balon d or as laliga gives illusion of being better than lige1 and serie A plus also gives an opportunity to statpad compared to EPL.) like balon d or etc.

f) playing just for the badge.

but these new generation players have realized their value. they have realized that every club is as good as the players they accumulated in the past, have in present and can attract in future. Now you can't motivate them to play by giving your USP which boomers fell into. I am talking about players at the level of messi and ronaldo like mbappe not someone a class below them.

I mean if you can think rationally without your bias, you get it. Unless you are out of the club's academy or it is your local club, it it is pretty normal to not feel the things that i mentioned above in points.

And if you follow other sports like cricket, basketball, football(not soccer) you will realize sports have been heavily commercialized and players keep flipping between clubs that pay them the most..Not from today, but soon in future, this might be getting common in soccer as well.

And I feel in this whole madrid saga, madrid really didn't value mbappe as much as psg did.(Again you can bring psg money is illegal bullshit but it is legal till it's illegal...plus psg can't spend like double of what other teams are spending and not get punishment. you have to stop living in delusional conspiracy theories and sometimes believe and trust in the law system. even if ffp doesn't punish psg, some legal system will always have a right to take action again them if things get too much out of hand..psg is not functioning inside qatar where they can bypass all the rules..yes i agree that some minor issues won't be taken to court and get them punished...like we'll know what happened in dressing room and stuffs...)..and psg valued mbappe as much as mbappe thought he was worthy...and a player decided to play at a club that valued him more than the other who was trying to make him feel like "you are lucky that you get to play in this club"..i mean it's just fair play to him....plus the salary details and signing bonuses (official ones) haven't come out still so idk the actual reason he stayed at psg but I believe and know it's money..Players of this generation might be valuing commercial and tangible success more than stupid stuffs that these legacy non epl and no sugardaddy backed clubs like barcelona, real madrid, juventus, milan, have been selling as USP since a long time.

i find it pretty satisfying as "a fan of football" what's happening to these clubs. If according to current football laws, psg, mancity, newcastle are illegal THEN PLEASE FUCKING LEGALLY REMOVE THESE CLUBS AND MAKE FOOTBALL GREAT AGAIN.lol.

about psg not being sustainable like real madrid-:

how can they? money comes from success and success comes from money..psg are in the phase where success is coming from money. if players like mbappes can inspire another generation of mbappes(of every position) to stay at psg...psg will in no time be a self sustainable club who can live on its means. even if they don't, it is perfectly legal in UEFA/FIFA. so i would blame fifa, uefa for allowing these state backed clubs to participate in football, nb else.

about high psg salary-:

if this is a huge problem, then uefa should act till they don't act, we can't say that it's illegal..it is perfectly legal till it is not made illega. but the salary ranges of various clubs are in similar ranges.

real madrid fans won't spare me alive..i expect 50 downvotes, 10+ reports, 100+ stalkers stalking my history, various comments filled with hatred and what not...you should understand that it is time you have to be content being bayern(i mean they win UCLs, win leagues without many mbappes...what's wrong with that..) i can already imagine in my head what types of comments i am going to get and how much abuse i am going to get...as i sad most real madrid fans are plastics doing internship in r/soccer.

PS I also believe that trophies might start to be irrelevant in this sports and money might take over i.e get more salary, get more commercial success, get more endorsements as more focus than get more trophies...and you can say it is sad.
