I'm at the point where I can't really agree with the "Just 6 kids were murdered" theory. I'm trying to work out the details as clearly as possible, but the more I look, the more it seems that there were definitely more deaths than the first six--maybe not more than 6 haunted animatronics from the kids, but the purple guy definitely seemed to get around. . A lot of this comes from what you learn in FNAF2.

-Foxy's "Go go go!" game Foxy is not an active part of the "New and Improved" Pizzaria. He's decayed, he's old and unused, replaced by mangle. Foxy was not a part of the original diner either (they still only had two when they moved to away from the original diner). This tells me the purple guy killed 5 kids at the previous Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

-"Save them" minigame, which, if you look at the map, takes place in the FNAF2 location. This whole minigame is wild, honestly. There are more dead children around the whole building, and a crumpled up golden freddy is crumpled somewhere in the store. Purple guy (with a badge and a stick-like item) appears and stops you. Now, we are the second security guard to run this place. There has only been one other night guard. More kids were killed here, by the purple guy. He came back.

Listening to the phone guy, he initially complained that "some" of the animatronics were trying to get to him and he asked to be moved to the day shift. Later, it's mentioned that someone has (posbily) been tampering with facial recognition software, that someone used a yellow suit that had been in storage, and that now "none of the animatronics are acting right" They had become aggressive towards all adults, and of course we had the bite of '87...

It's possible that when the purple guy was a night security guard, only the older animatronics came after him at first. That might have been enough to ask him to move to the day shift. As a day shift person, I think he may have tampered with the toy line animatronics. Looking back at the minigame, I sort of wonder if the yellow suit he used was golden freddy. You see golden freddy in the mini game, and the suit is "off" with no lights in the eyes. As soon as you touch him, the eyes light up. Golden Freddy disappears after that, but I don't really have an answer for why that might happen.

Uh, I also noticed golden freddy is not in the FNAF1 secret room when the purple guy puts on the spring bonnie suit. I actually want to know where golden freddy has been in each of these games tbh. Like, was he ever locked in that secret room or was he stolen/moved/moved on his own before it was sealed? Would anyone even notice? They were sealing it up as fast as possible.
