[Daily Goal] Day 3 - May 20

Yesterday was again not amazing but also not a total failure (I'm sensing a pattern here).

This is the last day that I have left to finish my last project for school, so today's goals are very minimal so that I can just prioritize my project. Again, as I've mentioned in the last few posts, my "REAL" start to 90days is going to be next week Monday when I'll have much more "real" goals. These past few weeks have been about getting into the routine of posting, making goals and tracking them, tracking calories, etc. All the things that make up "making good habits". (I feel a little like I'm just self-justifying, but this really was my plan all along.)

One small triumph: I jumped on the scale this morning and I'm about 1 lb lighter than I was a week ago! So, even tiny changes in habits can make a difference. It's a digital scale, so it's hard to say if I should "count" the weight change since it fluctuates so frequently, but still. It's the lowest I've seen that scale drop in several months.

Anyway, here's yesterday:

[x] stretches and back exercises

[0] Bike for 30 minutes.

[x] Track calories and have a deficit of 500-250. [I knocked the shit out of this. Despite not having a workout, I still kept my calories at a bit over 500 deficit by the end of the day. Yay for massive lunch of fresh steamed vegetables!]

Non-fitness goals:

[1/2] Finish final school project. Srsly. This is kind of the last full day. This has priority over all the other things. [Got a good chunk of this done, but it's not ready to submit yet. I have until about 5pm today before I have to pick up family at the airport. The project isn't TECHNICALLY due until tomorrow, but tomorrow is graduation, so the deadline is tonight before the airport.]

Today's goals:

[x] Stretches and back exercises

[ ] Track calories and have a 500-250 deficit.

[ ] Finish final project before about 5pm today.

[ ] Some sort of 30 minutes workout? No idea if I can fit this in today. Maybe I'll just walk very vigorously around the airport while looking for my family.
