[MOD] Official Introduction Post for Round 19!

Hey everyone, this is actually my first post on this entire website, so I am pretty much as new as you can get.

I recently dropped out of law school and I'm working on applying to Ph.D. programs in medieval lit right now, as well as recovering both from a wide variety of health problems law school caused or exacerbated. This is a healing time for me so I'm really glad to find a community like this.

Stats: *24, trans man *5' 7", 231.8 lb *Unemployed and applying to grad school *Diet-wise, working on implementing traditional foodways both in terms of habits and environment, and in terms of the actual food I'm eating *Health issues include recurring ankle injury, agoraphobia, bipolar II, and a mysterious blood pressure thing

Overall Goals *Get my bad ankle back to a point where I can skate for a sustained amount of time again. I used to figure skate regularly and I'm thinking about getting into casual hockey in the next few years so I really need to work on stability. *Work on bodyweight fitness--I have so many specific goals for various movements that I don't want to waste space with them here. *Drop 10-15ish pounds. I'm not into putting too much weight (ahaha) on this because of a history of eating disorders but it's a good enough mile-marker kind of stat that I'm willing to track it. *Make a full plan for grad school apps. *Write ~45,000 words, or around 500 per day, of anything. *Read three full books instead of losing momentum halfway through. *Generally shake off the anger, misery, and woe that law school instilled.

Sprint 1 Specific Goals: *BWF 3x per week. *Prescribed ankle exercises daily. *Spend two hours at public skate once weekly, getting up to five minutes of skating with no breaks. *Plan meals weekly and log them with a post-ED specific logging app daily, focusing on traditional foodways including bone broths and organ meats and heritage preparations of grains and fermented dairy, as well as obvious fruits and vegetables. *Make Excel sheet of schools to apply to including requirements. *Read over undergrad essay that will grow into full writing sample. *Read one full issue of Speculum to catch up on medieval scholarship. *Write a total of 15,000 words or 500/day. *Read one book for funsies. *Leave my apartment at least once daily.
