[Check In][Daily Goal] Day 61 - Week 11 Check-in - April 6, 2015

Yesterday was another super productive Sunday. We woke up early, walked the dogs, started a brisket in the crock pot, started the laundry, then went on a challenging 7 mile hike. On the way home, we did the grocery shopping. Then, I finished the laundry, swapped out the winter bedding for the summer bedding, cleaned the kitchen while my husband cleaned the bathroom, and prepped our Easter dinner: brisket, mashed cauliflower, and gravy from the crock pot vegetables. I also made my lunch for today. I went over my calories and did not drink enough water, but I kept my calories keto friendly. I'm sure my weight will be a little up/down until my water is re-balanced.

Today I am up at 4:00, drinking coffee and preparing for the gym. But, as I type this, I realize my body has not had a day off in over 2 weeks. So, I'm going to take the morning off from the gym, maybe go later or just condense my gym days the rest of the week. TBD.

  • Get back on the calorie budget wagon, no snacking after work, no snacking after dinner

  • Drink water

  • Walk the dogs

  • Work - follow up with special orders

  • Dinner - leftovers

  • Home - Quick clean the kitchen and bath after dinner, buy dog food, mail birthday package for L

Before I set my goals Sprint 3, I need to review my goals for Sprint 2.

  • Fitness Lifting 5 days a week, modified P/P/L program (Legs, Push, Accessory legs & shoulders, Pull, Legs); Run 3x/week; Yoga 3x/week; If the weather ever improves, I'd like to swap a run for a long hike on the weekend.

I have managed to lift weights 5x a week. I have done zero yoga. I have struggled with the running schedule, but have been running more frequently the last 2 weeks. We started hiking on the weekends - 3 weekends in a row, which I prefer over running. I had more time during Sprint 1 when I wasn't working, so I think I need to be more realistic about my time and if I want to mix it up, the weightlifting schedule needs to be condensed in order to accommodate running and yoga and hiking.

  • Nutrition Continue with keto, recalculate calories for slow gainz; Drink water; Drink no more than 4oz wine per day during the week and not more than 8oz on weekends.

I am still keto and love it. I increased my calories. No weight gain, but I am starting to see good definition in my muscles. I am good with drinking my water. I was drinking a glass of wine a few times on weekdays earlier in the Sprint, but the last 2 weeks I have been drinking wine only on the weekends.

  • Career Continue taking steps to start my own business; Meet with small business mentor; Complete paperwork for setting up LLC in Colorado (closed LLC in New Mexico during Spring 1); Re-launch Blog; Re-launch RB page; Get business cards. I am starting my new full-time job tomorrow. My goals for this are learn as much as I can so I can help the owners build their business. It's too soon to state a fully-formed goal for this other than to not hate it and not get fired!

Met with my mentor and came up with a business plan. Completed my paperwork with NM and received my Letter of Good Standing. Did not re-launch my blog or social media stuff. Did not get business cards. I started my new job! I still work there!

  • Personal Growth Paint for 20 minutes at least 2 weekdays and both weekend days.

Nope. Did not do.

  • Home Sell my house in Santa Fe (the closing is scheduled for this week!); Start looking at housing market in Denver; Pack lunches in the evening; Sweep & damp mop kitchen floor every evening after dinner; After the house is sold, I'd like to institute some kind of date event with my husband, even if it's at home - a special dinner, or a hike, or a piece of pie in a diner. Declutter the boxes we have stored in the garage - go through at least 1 box every week.

Sold my house! Scared of the Denver housing market. Have been cleaning the kitchen pretty consistently after dinner. I even added cleaning up the bathroom. Started an at-home date night, easily my favorite day of the week! Have only decluttered a couple of times, but did go through half the boxes those 2 nights. Once the weather is warm, we'll start again because I know we have some seasonal stuff in there.

Sprint 3 Goals

  • Fitness Condense P/P/L into 4 days x45; Run 2 days during the week; 1 new hike every week; Do 1 pull-up

(Possibly 1 long hike followed by a short hike with the dogs; Possibly yoga on Mondays to massage my body after hiking)

  • Nutrition Keep up keto; No snacking after work; No snacking after dinner; Minimize wine during the week to only 4oz; Minimize the free-feeding on the weekends to a single meal; Drink water

  • Career Sign up for Leading Edge start-up class; Register new LLC; Open bank account; Set up social media

  • Home Spring clean the garage; Purge the boxes we haven't touched in the last 4 months; Launder winter coats; Dry-clean winter woolies and store for the season
