Dating apps making the problem worse?

Yeah, I think it has set such unrealistic expectations for people. People see there "flawless" looking people on social media and that's what is most desired, making people think its abnormalto be struggling in life. I think it's a place where people look to skip ahead of all the steps of life to just try and aquire someone who has already made it. It also feels more like a job application. I get that people have standards and that's a good thing, but so many of them aren't things that would determine someone to be a good partner or not. Like requiring someone to have green eyes for example.

I admire the relationships people have where they grew through life with eahcother and made it through tough times with eachother. They've been with eachother through their worst and best.

It's really hard to predict the future for ourselves and what will happen for us, but for me personally, it's made me way less optimistic about my future love life.
