This is reminiscent of two events that took place at metal concerts.

First, everybody knows Dimebag Darrell was shot and killed while playing a show. A lot of metal shows are not set up in places with tight security, granted, but it still highlights the potential danger.

Second, a fan rushed on stage at a Lamb of God show in Prague. Randy Blythe, the vocalist, pushed him away as he came way too close. It wasn’t a malicious push and, judging by footage, looked like the motion many performers have taken in regard to stage-divers and shit. The fan ended up falling and later dying. Randy was thrown in jail for it.

I know it happened in a different country, but given one of Randy’s peers was murdered on stage, wouldn’t he have reason to push the fan away? If one argues that Randy is in the wrong and deserved punishment, then why don’t Chappelle’s goons for fucking this guy up intentionally?
