If you are able to check when u hear them go over, you might see they’re doing circles or figure 8s in the area...prolly just the same 2 or 4 copters flying in loops for a few hours and passing over a bunch of times. That’s pretty common - it happens a lot of places thru the US on any given weekday.

If u see blackhawks flying over but they DONT appear on the map - then it could be a non-training flight (I.e. shit’s going down somewhere lol) They usually turn off tracking radios while doing stuff for realsies. Sometimes radios are off during training I think, too tho.

If u see them on a tracking map - it’s almost a guarantee they’re training.
