Really? When have you said this to someone excited about FE14? When has someone chipped in with "Man! This looks great!" and you've responded "Stop with your flawed ideology, play it before judging!" You haven't. You haven't because you're operating under a double standard where negative first impressions are bad and positive first impressions are good.
I feel at this point you are losing yourself. Why would I say that? What gain would I get from being a douche?

People should be free to criticize bad things. Criticism is a healthy activity and it can teach a great deal about game design.
Here's what wrong with that. Claiming the death of the series is ludicrous. What OP is saying. You might not agree, but that's where my objections lie.

You said Awakening being bad is 'correct'. Now you are backtracking and saying it is your opinion. It could be correct in that is your opinion, but not correct in regards of it being true. Either you are backtracking or being wrong.
No. I said you were incorrect because you interpreted my comments as arguing "we somehow know the quality of FE14 without playing the game." I did not argue this. We do not know the quality of FE14. We can, however, make reasonable predictions based on limited information.
And this is where our paths diverge. I refuse to judge something until I have the facts on every detail so I can make my judgement thorough.
