I ignore it. Doesn't mean I like it, but a better system would only serve to make the world a little more immersive. Immersion isn't everything.

Would I prefer if cops didn't appear out of thin air? Yes. Would I prefer if they would chase me in cars and AVs instead of forgetting about me after I get 30m away in a shitbox that can't break 60mph? Also yes. But it would have no bearing on the rest of the game. There's no reason to be in firefights with the cops, so they're easy enough to avoid while they're a broken mess.

Best any of us can hope for is that they'll patch in a much better cop system at a later date. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. We can't know for sure, but I can tell you barraging CDPR with incessant hatred over it isn't going to make them any more motivated to do it. As it stands, it just doesn't matter anywhere near as much as people are making it out to.

Anyone wanna feel ripped off because the cop AI is shit? Go right ahead. Meanwhile, I'ma be getting my money's worth runnin' up on gangoons, admiring the scenery, developing my arsenal and abilities, and enjoying the story.
