You'll lose your Nexus Mods account forever and rightly so

Not if I change the mod files around just enough to make it "my own". Two people can have the same idea.

paid mods are unfortunate side effect of people having to live which costs money.

Cool, but if you're gonna do that then flippantly post on the Patreon "I DON'T OFFER SUPPORT FOR THE MOD", then don't be surprised if people get your mod however they want.

But you won't do that because that requires know-how and time and effort which is precisely what you'd be PAYING for if you went the Patreon guy route.

Oh I definitely have the know how. Which is exactly why I'm going to do it.

They're not offering anything other than the files. There's no reason to pay them. Plus I already found the same mod for free.
