I believe it was actually true she did move there solely for that purpose first, to meet Adam, since there is and was hidden proof all over the place. However, at the same time, Adam made his own decisions still. He chose to approach her, call her, etc, and it seems she heavily matured anyway. Even if she did go to Owatonna to meet Adam foremost and her photography wasn't her primary goal, despite whatever conspiracies, she's a human like the rest of us.

It's not like no one's wanted to do that before. Although I can't condone possible stalking, at the same time, there's an obvious sense of determination and bravery there. Most of all, Adam made his choices.
