Dinner in America, supposedly filmed in Detroit, is a really nice film.

You think the suburbs don't contribute to the city?

So regional taxes, spending at sports and events, and commuters paying city income tax, those don't contribute to the city? And do you want someone from Farmington Hills, who builds their community there, to drive down to Detroit city limits and build your Detroit community for you?

Leeching? Oakland County has a greater GDP than Wayne County, with a lower population, but spends less on their overall budget. Such leeches. How dare they simplify their location by using the name of the metro statistical area given to the region by the United States census like every other suburbanite in the country does. The nerve!
