Yeah, you can spam many times in combat I won't deny that but it's just not the whole picture like you said.
Judging by his reviews he hates controllers and hates 3rd person action games. He's sort of a gaming dinosaur he just can't accept some games are better with a controller and some with keyboard and mouse. It's obvious he has a lot of resentment towards the console gaming industry.
I now game on PC but if it wasn't for my xbox, fallout 3 and reddit I doubt I would have made that jump. I'm just the opposite, I have played my whole life with joysticks, arcade controls and controllers so I suck with M+K but when a game only has that or for certain reasons works better with a keyboard, that's how I play.
By the way, I will probably delete this whole thread tomorrow. Like I said I just hate being censored for no reason.
Now, onto Dying Light, oh Dying Light.
Let me say it's a good game, pretty great actually but flawed.
Pros:
Atmosphere/weather/lighting etc. was some of the best I have seen in a non-modded game.
World design. Again much like the atmosphere it feels lived in, looks amazing and has a good flow with the parkour movement.
The movement. Oh it has the best first person movement in any game I have played. It's so fluid once you level up.
Fear, night especially in a lightning storm can be quite tense if not scary.
Cons -
Story, it's competent but a little short and a little underwhelming/cliche etc. In fact I enjoyed the side mission stories much more than the main quest.
Voice acting is all over the place.
Little replay-ability unless playing on hard more with friends.
DLC is a big let down so far. Challenge modes, outfits and quarantine zones.
There were moments in that game that got to me on a different level but they were based on the weather and my tension at the time and nothing to do with the story unfolding.
Probably a 7 or 8 out of 10. As for first person zombie games it's one of the best ever made. Kinda what far cry 4 should have been but with zombies... ... ...
TL;DR: I agree witchooo. Dying Light gooood.
