Does Anybody Else Get Resellers Often?

If anybody is gonna behave like an adult here, it might as well be me. I made an initial promise not to get wrapped up in this, but the ludicrous amount of evidence and the paper trail you have left all over the internet has proven to me one thing: you are the kind of person I'm talking about, the kind of person who makes me grit my teeth that is taking advantage not only of my sales and stock but other customers, using your source of information to make it unfair for other people to actually get product they may need instead of hoarding it like the disgusting coupon clippers who take down an entire display of paper towels.

I could care less about your history with Staples, "making purchases since before store #200", "Premier Platinum", "stockholder," et cetera. I could care less about you being a CEO of some unnamed company. I could care less about your Senior Member status on Fat Wallet. I could care less that you don't publish actual store names but rather base it off region. What I do care about is that you make it your life goal to make other people's lives harder, and that is the unsung definition of low. All I see is someone with such an inferiority complex that it drives them to belittle the working man who tries to take a stand for their own living because it makes you feel like a big man.

The Customer is not always right. The customer can be wrong. But when I walk into the small store I have, I make it a purpose to at least help everyone who is not out to take advantage of others, make them feel right. Greet them. Smile. Ask them if they found their product alright. Make them feel cared for. I don't do that to save face, I do that because it's the right thing to do. But for people like the resellers I get who somehow get a hold of these clearance lists that I have no understanding of how they even come into existence, I can't do the same. I get irritated. People who could use that product for real purposes get snubbed. I get angry. I've had to tell down on their luck people who sincerely needed a laptop for business or school I don't have a laptop that's in their price range in stock because some stranger came in and bought all five. The money spends all the same to Staples, yes, but what matters to me is that the people we actually give a service to and are honest, good folks deserve some honesty and a chance in their ability to get product they may want or need, not have it sold out to some oddball who marks it up and sells it in a shop in the bad side of town or on eBay.

I won't work here forever. I'm a college student. I got my Easytech and I am extremely proud of that, but I'll move on when I get my degree and certifications and finally get that job I wanted ever since I was a kid. But while I'm here, I will subscribe to the tenants of honesty and goodwill and at least defend my job and the people I serve on a day to day basis. And I've spoken to my managers and coworkers, and even if we're frustrated with this corporation and the irrational decisions it makes at times, at least we're somewhat proud to work here and will defend our jobs and clientele from people like you who are happy to take advantage of that. And I'll keep fighting.

You keep posting your little lists on the internet and paying in frequent flyer coupons. I'll keep putting Staples stickers on everything I sell.
