I picked up 50$ in Flexepin this evening. The first location I went to was an Esso station.

Apparently they have a limit of 1000$ per day and the manager is going to try to get it increased. When I arrived (around 9:30PM) they had already hit their limit for the day. Apparently someone had just come in and purchased 900$ worth not too far ahead of me.

I went to a second Esso station and bought fifty. The website I use (coinsquare) charged me 3 percent so I got 48.50 on the exchange but overall it worked without any issues.

Assuming you intend on buying 500$ worth, I would recommend going in the morning as I assume other places have daily limits while they are getting started.
