Does anyone on here have no social media at all?

I have been using social media for 25 years. I was a teenager when AOL came out and spent many hours after school and on weekends in chat rooms. I even attended AOL parties where when you walked in you introduced yourself by your screen name. They were actually pretty lit, I remember the cops shutting more than a couple down.

Facebook is by far the most toxic platform to ever exist. I’ve tried just about every service that has come and gone. In the good Ol’ AOL days only people with scanners had photos to share as digital cameras weren’t really a thing yet. MySpace was probably the last decent social media. It wasn’t infested with politics and aggressive marketing of FB. The wide spread narcissism as you see on Instagram didn’t exist and the celebrity circle jerk of Twitter wasn’t a thing.

If I had to choose one social media platform that probably has the least toxic model at the moment I would pick Tik Tok. That being said the party is over. I would recommend most people stay off of social media for their own mental health and privacy. It was a good run!
