Does this case make anyone more appreciative of life?

Oh TreeSeer6, me too! My ex got involved with a bunny boiler like NK, and had kind of a nervous breakdown. The stuff he told me about his family and how he really thought scared the hell out of me. I guess I know how easy it can be to get trapped by a covert narcissist/psychopath, and there but for the grace of God go I. These guys have pitch perfect public personas and can morph into absolute terrors over time. Most especially the shy 'nice guy" types.

When LE interview the neighbors and acquaintances of serial killers, half the time everyone says what a nice guy they were. Look at Ted Bundy, people refused to believe he was capable of murder. Because people were willing and eager to vouch for him, he was able to evade LE longer than he would have otherwise. I really think CW was counting on cashing in his "nice guy" brownie points to keep the suspicion off of himself and onto Shan'ann instead. Had he waited a few more years, I think his nice guy image would have been polished enough that he could have pulled off the sermon on the porch with real believability. I think he was working on that image all throughout his marriage. Probably all throughout his life.

This case has made me appreciate my intuition and learn to listen to it!!!! And focus on all the wonderful loving people on this planet as well as all the beauty. Toxic people like CW and NK can rip our focus away from these wonderful aspects of life on this beautiful earth. I have to remind myself to turn away from toxicity and immerse myself instead in what is good, what is truth and what is beauty as much as possible.
