Nah, just regular ground brew coffee. Folgers mostly. Sometimes McCafe or this German kind that Aldi's sells. They all have the same ground size. It's a finer grain but certainly not that fine. I mean I'm not stupid but I'm pretty darn certain it has to be the paper filters. I just don't get why I seem to be the only one as this Brew Rite brand is sold everywhere near me.

I inspected my makers thoroughly. One is a Black n Decker, the other is a Mr. Coffee but operate on the same standard design as all the other regular coffee makers out there and brand new but I don't see any function issues. I can run pure water through the filter and it flows out of the drip tray just fine. Just not with coffee in it.
