I don't know if you guys realize it but NFT gaming is probably going to be the biggest thing to come out of crypto.

but enough people do for it to be successful.

Still waiting for that citation.

And yeah, that's kind of the point of NFT's and play-to-earn games, people want to be playing with money whilst gaming.

They don't. They just want to earn money. People don't play crypto-games for the gameplay, they play it as a job.

These crypto-games are mostly popular in low income countries where their income makes them an alternative job.

Play to earn games have acquired a market cap of $30billion within a few months, and 95% of the games aren't even released yet.

Really makes you think...

There has never been such explosive growth in the history of gaming, NFT game developers are making multiple times more money than traditional game developers right now.

"Developers pandering to a speculative hype get more money in the short term than developers making products and selling them" is far less strong of a point than you think it is.

The money is there, and it's in abundance.

I'll just cut to the chase:

Where's the money coming from?

Who's paying all these people to play games?

Let us take Axie Infinity as a case study:

  • Where does the money come from? People buying Axies.

  • Why do they buy Axies? Because you need at least 3 of them to play the game.

  • Why do they want to play the game? Because they want to make money off it by selling Axies.

So old players need to find new players, and either more than 1 new player or get that new player to spend more money than they did.

These new players, in turn, have to do the same.

You might notice this arrangement has a particular shape.

BECAUSE IT'S A FUCKING PYRAMID SCHEME YOU DOLT.

That's why there's so much money being poured in. Because it's a fucking fraud.
