I don't want to watch Dragon Ball Z, I want to watch Naruto.

First of all, I absolutely love DBZ. It's my childhood.

But my point is that the "super powers" in Naruto wasn't the jutsu shit. The "wow" moments of the show weren't the giant explosion. Nobody went DUUUUUUUDE when deidara drops his gigantic nuke on the sand village. But, god damn, when those 5 tiny sand fiddlers dig there way gaara's ultimate defense, everyone collectively went "OOOOOH FUCK!" as they slowly pieced together what happened.

The wow moments of the show were every single time you saw kakashi walking with team seven through the forest casually holding a conversation when, out of no where, he get blind sided by shuriken. you impulsively hold your breath, just for a moment. You don't even know where they came from. They were as much of a surprise to you as they were to him. But then poof... log of wood... And then, everyone turns around and kakashi already has that guys own kunai pressed up to the back of his own neck. And everyone just stares at him, while he explains how he knew he was being tailed 20 minutes ago. THAT'S the shit that made this show awesome.

But now its Naruto, cloaked in chakra, weilding giant chakra limbs attacking people with swirling balls of chakra. Oh, and then sasuke is engulfed in the torso of a chakra fucking megazord along with his chakra lightsaber which i'm pretty sure can do literally anything at this point. Oh yeah, Naruto is infinitely telepathic because of the whole chakra thing, and he has a big black friend who's only function at this point i'm pretty sure is a mobile artillery gun which fires giant balls of chakra that explode.

I signed up for ninja's with cool powers no fucking superheros who's day-job-title is "ninja". I mean, come on, aren't you just a tiny bored of watching naruto use a myriad of rasengan of varying sizes to defeat a myriad of enemies of varying sizes? To his credit, he's go the range thing down now, what with throwing the rasenshurikan and the extendo arm thing. But seriously though, whats the difference between that and Kamehameha?? I get it, he's powerful and stuff, and I understand that the similarity between the personality traits are just coincidental, but come on, Naruto is devolving into any of the stock "the chosen one" anime heros. and its making me dislike the show.
