Nah. If we’re going to do that with any breed, it should be French Bulldogs, pugs, or any kind of dog that is a product of too much inbreeding to the point it has constant health issues throughout its life span.

Aggressive pit bulls (like literally any dog in the world) are a product of their owners and their environment. I’ve raised/had dogs for my entire life, including multiple pit bulls. I’ve never had one get aggressive or attack anyone, because they were properly raised. Hell, I have an 8 year old German Shepard/Pit mix right now. Never a single issue. So by your argument, why not just “stop breeding” any dog that has been considered an aggressive breed. All breeds are capable of violence. Some are larger and stronger than others, thus they’ll do more damage if they do get aggressive. We should ban people from owning dogs they’re not capable of taking care of, if anything.
