On Cuba

My views change with the wind honestly... I've been a leftist for a few years now and I've been reading theory as well as devouring as many secondary sources as I can. From Anarcho-collectivism to Stalinism, from Marxist-Leninism to Syndicalism, from Maoism to Anarcho-primativism and even a straight-up tankie. Through it all though, I've retained a healthy respect for Cuba. Throughout my journey there have been things that would bother me about it for a time but there is no doubt in my mind that Cuba is a much more egalitarian and well-ordered society than I have ever known first hand.

We western leftist will often pretend to be revolutionary but when someone actually does it we say "No, not like that." I support Cuba and Cubans and I think they are doing something right.
