Dutchie with questions about how Belgians perceive the Dutch

So I was browsing Reddit on my phone...but I just put my pc on for this one...

1 - I think dutch culture is much like us. We may feel like our cuisine is much more refined, don't know if htat's true, I've eaten some good meals in the Netherlands.

2 - Extroverted. Loud. Opionated. This all gets worse when alcohol is involved. A trip to Mallorca comes to mind, I was there, chilling on the beach, right out the front door of the hotel, and a couple of dutch people were there on holiday too. There was this one guy, and he would never EVER shut up. He would talk all day long, about himself, his friends, his family, cars he owned, cars his friends owned...

3 - I have never been there, nor have I had the pleasure of meeting a person from said provinces.

4 - This is the reason why I fired up my pc...take a seat...

I love that you people are that extroverted. You are friendlier towards complete strangers and you have a more cosy community there. We Belgians, we are cold compared to you. Let me give some examples.

You have a prince, now a king that gets on the balcony after the birth of his third daughter and he says "well, now I feel like a cock in a henhouse". You know what our crown prince said after the birth of his baby girl ? Different balcony: "It's a girl". It's right there, extroverted, cosy. Willem Alexander says what he feels, and he does not care about norms. He's a dad at that point, a human, and not a stick figure looking to play a role.

Football. Not a big fan of it myself. And we Belgians only support our team when they can make a fist, which has been a recent developement. But when the dutch team plays, the nation rises up as one, dressed in orange.
