Either physically or mentally, what’s the worst pain you’ve ever had to go through?

I was hit by a runaway truck and suffered almost 40% skin loss on my lower right leg as well as a pulverized calf muscle and three holes in my shin down to the bone. They had to tourniquet my leg to keep me from bleeding out (after a 200lbs EMT dropped his knee on my inner thigh to slow it down long enough to get the tourniquet on). The flight nurses pumped me full of all the morphine they legally could and I was still in pain. I had to have four surgeries including two skin grafts and spent two months in the hospital because the wound care was too intense to do at home. BTW changing dressings on a skin graft is like pulling duct tape off a sunburn, sometimes they would just put me under for it. Then I developed a C-Diff infection from all the antibiotics. Then there was the five months of PT to rebuild the damaged muscle and shortened tendons. I also only took opioid painkillers sparingly through most of it because I have an addictive personality. Between all that and the mild PTSD it's the most physical and mental pain I've been in. You could put a cigarette out on my face and I wouldn't be bothered.
