Essiential workers right now

Starting Tuesday night I have to work 8 nights of twelve hours. This is after I told my boss I am getting burned out. I'm tired of working over 50 hours every week since 2018.

Pandemic hit and the ot increased with less people. My crew is me and two guys. One of which has been sick since it started so they gave been off since march.

I even told them working us like this is playing with fire.

My ot increased, and I was told "we have zero confirmed cases. Be happy you have additional income because so many are out of work".

My back hurts all the time now, my Achilles blew out last year and still is not healed. I walk with a limp now. My hands and shoulders go numb constantly from the repeated abuse of manual labor. It's hard to hold stuff sometimes.

All I want is a week to catch up on chores and enjoy a little nice weather in my back yard.

But nope, I should be blessed and thankful.

I'm tired, I'm hurt, and I'm ready to go asleep permanently. I just want my scheduled days off. I'm tired of driving to work seeing everyone out and about be when they should be at home. I'm tired of calling my bosses for help/questions and they are out golfing because their positions are not essential.

Starting today all workers on site must wear a n95 mask. How the fuck am I suppose to carry 150 fifty pound bags over a hundred feet up two flights of stairs with a fucking mask on.

I live in the fucking twilight zone
