Why even bother with the hard hat?

Are you talking about setting up your own health care provider? What else would you only do on company time? Brush your teeth? Sleep? Shower?

Let me put that in perspective again: It's THEIR health care. I pay for it, and they are given complete freedom in terms of what health care provider they'll choose. There are MANY for them to choose from, they can go to any of them, see what their plan offers, choose the best plan for them, and sign up. Are you seriously telling me you would not go to the doctor if it wasn't on company time?

BTW, this is NOT some insurance thing required for work, just your own private health care.

Now, that said, YES, it would've been NECESSARILY on company time since most healthcare providers work early-morning office hours.

I'm super chill with hours, everybody knows they can come in late, or leave early, or leave for a few hours if they have something to do as long as they coordinate with their coworkers so they are being covered for if there was something important. And that's when they actually have to show up, because I'm chill with teleworking too, in fact, the norm is if you can work from home today, do it.

I can't believe people can be this entitled. Their own health care in their own time, how could I dare.
