Do you ever NOT feel bad someone gets involved in an MLM?

I can only think of two. They're husband and wife involved in that world finance mlm. I thought they were both great until they got involved with it. They're both friendly, smart, charismatic, successful, well-educated and seemed nice. (I honestly don't know why they started in the first place, they both had great jobs making good money before) They're also both originally from southeast Asian countries but have been in the US since they were kids. Their particular brand of mlm shittiness is that from what I've seen on Facebook they solely target recent immigrants from their respective countries. They tried to recruit a friends aunt who recently moved to the US, and she said their pitch was very vague and made her afraid because of the services she "needed." I highly doubt most of these people know what they're signing up for or paying for, but they trust that these two are trying to help. Luckily my friends aunt asked her about it before signing up or paying for anything, but it makes me rage that they OBVIOUSLY know it's a scam and they take advantage of people who are trying to make a new life for themselves. Ive wondered about reporting it to... Someone, but I don't think they're technically doing anything illegal just really scummy.

I really just feel bad for others I know who've gotten involved in mlms.
