Every day when I come home from work and go on /r/the_donald here in Seattle

Holy shit that was a high energy response. Thanks for all the info.

Man I am so sick of the fucking traffic in this country. I have been commuting for way too long I need to live closer to my job.

Sucks about the jobs there. Do you see that improving ever? Did you move to Seattle just to improve your resume longterm? It sounds miserable there when you consider the ratio of men to women. I had no idea it was as bad as SF that is dismal.

Also that article you linked with that woman bitching about "brogrammers" made me kinda furious haha. I typically don't like engineers (even though I almost went into CS or UX design) but I don't understand why these women don't get why the guys are how they are. They are over-educated and talking to a bunch of women who have very little overall (logical) intelligence in comparison. They also make more money than basically all of the men their age. And the women are going "who the fuck do these guys think they are?" Uhh I dunno, the fucking future elite of America? I mean yes it sucks that the best way to earn money now is to be a math loving shut in nerd, but it especially sucks for us men. Women have an easier time sitting inside all day. Personally I don't like the fact that I have to compete with Mark Cuckerberg because all he does is sit around earning money. He has no substance. The whole reason I am reluctant to get into tech is because I don't want that shit anymore. When I was 20 sure I would have done it, but I am way different now and I love to socialize and get out and move and shake. It reminds me of how I read this article that said that once men outnumber women to a certain degree, the women completely stop looking for mates because they are so bombarded with possibility. I remember reading a similar complaint article about the SF area where a girl literally said "I had an executive and a CEO who were both very handsome competing for my attention and I had no idea how to choose so I just left the bar and went somewhere else". I was blown away reading that, that is like me saying "I had two supermodels trying to suck my dick and they were both so hot I couldn't decide so I left the bar"

Do you find that in your job you are often working absurdly long hours? Or is it more of a situation where the better employees can get away with working normal hours while the others can't? My sister works for Amazon and she works absolutely ridiculous hours. She makes a lot of money but I would never do her job. I can work 60 hours a week when I'm 40. There is also a chance that she is just bullshitting me though and she totally exaggerates how much she works like most women do to make me feel bad for her. She loves to play the "I'm all stressed out" card.

Gonna have to look up if there are any decent sales jobs down there. I'd be happy pulling in like 80k, even 60-70 if the real estate isn't bad (sounds like it can be). But I'd have to ship my car to Florida :((( Or do a savage road trip.
