EVERYBODY needs to watch this! A professor is saying and explaining everything we are saying. He‘s exposing wallstreet and Jim clown Cramer. Upvote the linked post so that more people see it! I already shared it with everyone I know.

Not trying to pick on them too much but the two women up font who kept complaining about how "there need to be ethics" and "they should have to sign a pledge saying they will reinvest in the economy" made me want to put my head through a wall.

No, there don't need to be ethics, as evidenced by the fact that there are none. And, get them to sign a pledge? Why? So they can lie about that too? Their "word" means nothing. If somebody stands to benefit materially from some course of action, and there are limited consequences for trying, getting them to pinky promise they won't do that thing because it's "wrong" in some cosmic sense isn't a solution. That's not how incentive structures work.

I don't understand these people who see tragedy or systemic problems and go "how could someone do such a thing?" Like, what do you mean? Do you not witness people doing dumb and reckless shit daily because it makes them feel good and because they think they won't get caught (or don't care)? Have you never considered taking some action for personal or familiar gain that might hurt or inconvenience someone else?

People who can't conceive of the reasons other people do bad things genuinely scare the shit out of me.
