I have made my choice

The last of the og eminem imo. Buried deep in this albums cuts are some of the most mind blowing and technical flows eminem has ever crafted. He sounds loose and free, but somehow sharpened to a point and locked in at the same time. Its great having some truly downtrodden, depressive borderline sadistic sounding sections from such a popular rapper.

The accent adds a whole element to the record. Sure, its tedious if you're not in the mood, but if you let the listening experience consume you and partake in some eminem lore, you will begin to understand the genius of this choice. The way he could manipulate words and his lyrics was stretched to the extreme at the time, and the additional element of the accent was focussed on to help mix the process up. New rhymes and ideas would have no doubt come from adding this element alone.

It feels as if he had already done everything he could think of at the time, and a significant change was required to mix it up. Relapse does this without alienating og fans imo.
