Exotics Should Be Hard To Get

Ugh, no, I have a month of play time since vanilla, a ton of fully updated exotics, and 72 exotic shards left. Still don't have every random drop exotic before RoI. I quit before RoI because I was just doing the same crap over and over to maximize exotic drops. That's not hard. That's boring and lazy.

Exotic shards should randomly drop instead (Along with dismantling exotics), and exotics should be quest based. Not drive around Mars for two days opening hundreds of chests in patrol to get a few random drops quests, or timegating crap.

I'm talking ToM/Black Spindle type quests without hadium flakes or the time gate, or boss drops.

I'm actually even okay with collection quests if you can get the stuff multiple ways (Chests, PvE kills, bosses, crucible, etc). If they are going to artificially draw out the time to get something then at least let me do things I like doing. Same with stupid crucible quests like getting X headshot kills in a row with the worst pistol they could design.

If they are random they absolutely need to stop giving me the same damn thing over and over. Drop something I don't have and then drop exotic shards, skins, or whatever.

That's really the only changes I wanted to see in Destiny 2. Better paths to gear so people don't get stuck with crap, and making some effort to find imaginative ways to make the grind less annoying.
