Experiences after 6 months

In all honesty I’m a terrible patient and have not made any changes as all the foods what cause inflammation are my faves, I have cut down my dairy intake though! I was placed on naproxen and gabapentin but they make me feel awful so I had to sack the meds off and force myself through the pain instead, but I have given in and accepted some naproxen recently as I had a fall in work and landed badly on my back causing that to spasm as well haha - my back is all better now thankfully! I have had an anxiety diagnosis in the past and I’ve come through the other side and I must say either the pain has subdued since or I panic less from the pain making it more bearable in my mind if that makes sense ? Since I started smoking weed my pain and swelling hasn’t been as bad, but I wouldn’t recommend a weed habit if it can be avoided aha. Deep heat is also the shizz, I use it very irresponsibly and will burn my skin off one day but omg the relief is worth it even for a few moments! Positive mindset and not letting it beat me down has honestly been my biggest change, a few years ago I couldn’t even sit at a desk in an office without crying from the pain, now I’m wrestling with giant kids who are swinging off me and throwing me over benches (SEN school with lots of pupils with behaviour issues) and although it kills me some days and I’m fit for nothing once I get home, just push through the pain and breathe. We can’t let it dictate our lives and I intend on living life to the full, even if it does hurt aha
