LPT: If your friend owns a business, don't ask for a friend discount or for some free products, a great friend is one that pays full price to support their friend

Honestly, whatever that pays. My life was never going to be normal at 16. I've been a line cook, server, pizzaiolo, grocery bagger (when that was a thing), paper boy (when that was a thing), property manager, proficiency test scorer--twice, document review, lead attorney on plenty of cases in the largest muni court in the state, ran for judge! (seriously!) I have landscaped, painted, helped launch restaurants with my chef neighbor.

You can read between the lines: no kids.

Currently contracting with a firm two time zones over doing all the stuff that doesn't involve being in person. Still will gladly go drive to my buddies properties and douse myself in whatever construction crap for our don't-let-uncle-sam know time. Just as well as I have gone in and deep cleaned a kitchen late at night with a friend, despite law degree and whatever.
