My name is Mat. I hope this evening finds you well. It sounds like we're looking for lots of the same things and could very well have some great times ahead if we click.
I'll begin by addressing your checklist as it is obviously important to you.
Single? Check. I will disclose to you that I am currently seeking a relationship but I am 100% unattached nor even dating anybody at the moment.
I just turned 38 a few months ago.
I own my own home and live alone. (Save for my codependent feline roommate.) If this does progress I hope that you're a cat person or at the very least an animal person. I've found her to be a fine judge of character.
My free time is only limited by my job. My schedule is an average Monday to Friday 8 to 4:30. I work 10 minutes from home so thankfully commute time is not an issue. Outside of those hours I'm my own man.
The one hitch here is that I live in Euless, right by DFW airport. It is in the within your 30ish minute limit of downtown Dallas. I worked in the heart of downtown Dallas for 8 years and the door to door drive, with average traffic, is 18 minutes. Yea, it can certainly be a bitch at times but it's generally an easy drive. It's one of the main reasons I live in Euless. I've got family in both Dallas and Fort Worth and see them quite regularly.
(Jeez, sorry for the novel, though I appreciate you're dedication to standards and to what you want.)
I'm 6'3" and 190. Yes, I have a bit of a belly but I'm down 7 lbs in the last couple of weeks and I keep on plugging away. I've never been at or over 200lbs a day in my life. At the moment I have no intention of being buff; my goal is to be healthier. Staring 40 in the face sucks! Probably the biggest caveat here is that I do smoke cigarettes. I'm in the process of quitting, or keep trying to quit. It's a horrible addiction but it's an addiction and I'm working on it.
As far as the bedroom thing: I'm quite open. I'll try anything once and most things twice just to be sure. Spontaneity is brilliant but honestly communication is key. And yes, I've been complemented on my kissing ability and revel and enjoy it like I was still in high school.
That's a lot of words/info for a first communique so I will refer the same questions back to you.
