Female Veteran Explains why she is against women in combat units

I think an excellent and safe way to see how effective this idea is would be to experiment with the New York Yankees. We would start with a government mandate that the New York Yankees must replace 10 percent of their infield players with females. we would only do this with the New York Yankees because just like in the real world we can only control what our team does and not the others. now I choose the New York Yankees because they are arguably the most successful sports franchise in history they have a strong history and record of winning, they also have a very very large budget compared to opposing teams. What's the largest budget and most resources and talent management the New York Yankees may continue to win. they may be able to strengthen up other positions on the team to make up for any possible weaknesses for other players. How many females with the New York Yankees have to interview before they hire a comparable picture? Economics tell us we already have that answer. And what's the cost to the New York Yankees if they lose a few games? maybe they don't win as many games as long as they win more than they lose that's considered a win right? The problem is war fighting is not a game. Nations whose armies fail to win cease to exist, the people who support that nations army risk drastic change to their very way of life. Again this is all fine as long as our army is better funded and better equipped than the army we face on the battlefield, but what happens if we face an army that is equally armed and funded and equipped that we were unable to force gender integration into their combat forces? the current unit I am assigned to has females. Today 100 percent of them are medically unable to deploy, also 100 percent of them are married to other service members. we are not authorized extra soldiers as backup when a female soldier is pregnant, the male soldiers just pick up the slack. I assume this is no different than any other industry in America, however the goals and purpose of the Army is slightly different than Kinkos or Starbucks. today it is very common for male and female couples to deploy together. what is fascinating is when one of them gets blown up, you don't have one casualty in your unit you now have two. It's all so tough to take gender integration seriously as long as selective service continues to only apply to males.
