I was one of the people involved in the arguments you’re referring to, and I gotta say: my previous take hasn’t changed at all.

I have autism. The title doesn’t offend me any more than somebody calling me a retard does. And just to be clear, that doesn’t offend me at all.

In fact, retard is easily one of my top five insults to use when I’m arguing with somebody and not trying to be civil about it because they aren’t either.

The others are “asswipe,” “dickweed,” “shithead,” and “fucker.”

I’m also partial to “dipshit,” “douche,” and “cunt.”

Bonus points for putting “pompous” in front of “asswipe” or “douche” and “raging” in front of “cunt.”
