Someone commented below about this sub generalizing Indian men. Having lived in 4 countries now I can clearly see that misogny is just normal among Indians.

And this doesn't have anything to do with cab drivers or delivery guys alone as the same commenter commented in their comment. I went to a top college, one of the most difficult to get into and you would expect that people there would be different. I'd just share my experience in college and my work life.

Guy 1- Warden at my hostel in college. Very well renowned professor who studied in US. During one of the meetings in hostel, he made a comment on the looks of the girls in my college. Surpisingly, or unsurprisingly other guys in my hostel didn't seem to find it probematic. Such a statement coming from a person they looked upto was appalling. Not to mention looks are the last thing that the guys in my college would be remembered for.

Guy 2 - Went to a top college, now working abroad. He made a character assassination comment on one of my female teacher, also one of my favorite teachers, at school who was rumored to be having a bf after getting divorced. He constantly shares e*otic/se*ual stuff on whatsapp and Instagram groups. But if one of the women in those pics/videos were to be around, he would likely look down upon them.
