This is going to get downvoted, but whatever: Fireflies is but one in a long list of restaurants that Alexandrians have convinced themselves are unique and fantastic, but in reality are middling at best and not worth the trip from outside of the neighborhood.

It use to be the shit, then the owners decided to move and let a chef come in and make a new menu, so for like 5 months it was a new special every week, and it was even more the shit, then the chef decided on a shitty menu after having all these nice specials and it killed all the momentum, then the chef left and they left the guy that runs it now come in and it was the worst service ever for awhile which killed their customer base for good.

Too bad, I really really liked it under the first cooks / owners and when the 2nd guy was doing all the killer specials.
