First time getting a credit card, what is the best credit card to go for and advice for a newbie?

Thank you.

I have a few options when it comes to direct debit payments. Of course I'd like to pay it off every month do I don't have to pay interest.

Which should I go for?

  1. Boosted payment: To pay your balance faster, set up a monthly Direct Debit for a higher payment to pay your contractual minimum payment plus a variable boost payment. Based on your current statement balance, this month's boost payment adds £0.00 to the contractual minimum payment

  2. Payment requested This will pay your contractual minimum payment plus an optional recommended extra payment which may vary depending on your balance.

  3. Full statement balance This will clear your statement balance.

  4. Fixed Direct Debit Plus You choose an amount to pay each month. The amount you pay may include an optional recommended extra payment.
