+Moأmenah First of all, were you parents Islamic? Were you told to read the Quran as an Islam? Were you told to worship Allah? I'm pretty sure that's how it went down. Please don't lie about that. However, if you truly did live in a household that didn't impose their beliefs onto their kids (Which is hard to imagine. My mom is the most un-Christian Christian ever but even she imposed her beliefs onto me), then I apologize for assuming. And what is this 'Mercy and Peace' you learned from Islam? There are tons of tyrannical things that are condoned in the Quran. You honestly can't believe Islam is a religion of peace with those kinds of things condoned in the Quran (I'm referring to the executing for Apostasy, condoning of warfare with those who don't believe in Allah, treating women as servants to men etc.) The only religion I know of that is ACTUALLY peaceful is Buddhism, and that's a NONTHEIST RELIGION!
Also, if you searched for the truth, you didn't do a very good job. If there ever was a God, it surely wouldn't be the ones in the Quran or the Bible.
And the difference from when I spoke up about my beloved being insulted and when Islams speak up about their beloved being insulted is that I don't act it out onto the people who actually insulted her. I try to improve with that and suggest changing IF the reasons are legitimate.
Islams however, get riled up for the dumbest of things and try to murder people who don't believe in what they believe. They don't want to change, and those who change what their religion means don't know what a religion is and are not part of that religion. There truly is no way to be a part of religion and still be a part of the Modern World with ever-changing morals.
If you don't follow the Quran to the last words, you are NOT a true Islam. You are just picking out thing that you deem as being right and leave the rest you don't agree with or would rather not do and then telling people you're Islamic.
You can do that WITHOUT a religion! That's why Human Beings even created Morality!
