The problem with it is, is going to be the same as like GM did with the Blazer and Jeep did with the Cherokee. It’s an iconic name, and people that are already a fan of the brand will scoff at the name. “It’s not the same thing”. They should rebrand it with something else. The new Cherokee is a really good crossover SUV. Good MPGs and good road manners and can get you where you need to go. The Blazer is the same way. It’s taking an iconic nostalgia and making it something it isn’t. I loved the third row Commander and I haven’t met anyone that owned one that didn’t like it. It’s the name attached that will have it fall short of expectations with the Wagoneer. I’ll probably want one because I like v8s and third row seating, but I don’t think it’ll overthrow something like a Suburban as a soccer mom assault vehicle
