AITA for aborting my special needs baby?

A family friend of mine has a teen with a genetic disorder that uprooted their entire life. They’re privileged to have access to amazing and groundbreaking care, jobs with flexible hours as well as good pay and benefits, and family support. A kid with issues like these needs parents who are emotionally, physically and financially ready to go to fucking war. I’m not even super close with them but the thought of attending the funeral (likely within the next decade) of a kid I held as a baby is devastating. Despite difficulties, they’re thriving as a family unit. That said, she says she 100% wouldn’t have had any biological children had she known.

NTA, it’s easy to judge a decision when you don’t have to worry about living with the consequences.
