Flight Physical at CLC

I scored a 47 and last year at CLC the company commander said they would try to squeeze me in but since I was taking a 5th year I couldn't take my flight physical then because it would of been expired by the FY17 accessions. I called up my local army base who had a flight surgeon and got it done there and it was a very painful process. So if they say no at CLC get it done at home. I imagine it's a lot more laid back too, because from what I heard at CLC they are very strict about the standard.

I failed my wingspand length my 1cm and they were going to make my drive 12 hours to Rucker for the cockpit eval. I went back to Knox because I was going to CULP and while going through SRP told them I needed a cockpit eval. At first they wouldn't allow me to go get it done with cadet command because my score was a 47 but then I got a signed memo from my PMS requesting I go and they let me go!

Long story short. Be prepared for them to turn your down but try to go. Make sure you have an official memo or letter of some sort from your PMS also requesting to get it done. I gave it to the SRP NCOIC and she was extremely helpful. Hope that helps!
