The Floor Sucks (meme/spoiler for episode 4 results)

My two cents:

In my experience, when a bot is stuck on an imperfection in the floor, and it's actively trying to free itself, one can see the bot vibrate at least a little as the wheels are spinning to get enough traction to move. Watch the video closely. In our match, after doing one small twitch, Cobalt is perfectly still with no visible movement. Now put yourself in the position of the referees who are trying to determine if Cobalt is stuck on the floor, or Cobalt can't move because something inside broke during all those hits. There is no possible way for them to decide the time is right to stop the match and free Cobalt. I'm not saying Cobalt wasn't stuck, but I am saying there was no evidence to indicate it was stuck. If a bot isn't moving, there is always the possibility that the floor is the cause. So should every match be paused when a robot gets stuck so the refs can examine f the floor is a factor? When the refs can't see the wheels spinning, and the bot is perfectly still, no movement is no movement.

On a related note, I'm kinda surprised that so many people assume Cobalt was stuck on the floor. We see Cobalt hit a seam, bounce off it, twitch once, and then stop. From where I was standing, I thought Cobalt's drive stopped working.

Again, if Cobalt's team says they were stuck on the floor and their drive was fully functional, I 100% believe them. But while the bots were in the arena, there was no clear evidence that the floor was a factor.

Finally, please keep in mind this is only the 4th episode, Cobalt is a ferocious beast, and we all get to be entertained by them again.
