Florida Gov. Rick Scott: You must be 21 to buy a gun

ITT: An awful lot of people irrationally expect a single police officer to risk his life securing a facility that covers acres with at least one known active shooter and at the time unknown possible others.

You guys need to lay off the cop for not putting his life at risk. That's not his job. I'm sorry you've lived your life watching cop shows where actors portray cops that do put their lives on the line every Friday night at 8pm. But, that's not what real life cops do.

Expecting this cop to risk his life to save people he doesn't know is like Walmart management expecting employees to put their lives on the line to secure their products from theft. It's ridiculous. As imperative as it might have been to try and save those kids' lives, no doubt, this guy has his own family, maybe he own kids to think about.

Fuck, I want cops to be my heros too. But they're just like anyone else. They've got their lives and they want to live it as long as possible. They've got responsibilities like a wife and kids. Who the fuck is going to take care of them when that cop is dead?

It's easy for you all bashing this cop to judge him, but hardly any of you would willingly put your lives on the line for people you don't know if put in the same situation.
